I am Grace, a dedicated artist and yoga instructor, weaving together the vibrant threads of creativity, adventure, and self-empowerment. Residing in San Diego, my spirit is as boundless as the destinations my vintage camper van leads me to, embracing the beauty of the natural world and the rich tapestry of the queer community.

My artistry is expressed through Stained Glass Watercolors, a unique technique that mirrors my journey of self-discovery and the pursuit of a distinctive artistic voice. This form of expression not only showcases my commitment to innovation but also serves as a beacon for those seeking inspiration and empowerment through art.

My upbringing, marked by mobility and the challenges of being perceived as an outsider, fostered a deep resilience and a unique perspective. These experiences, far from diminishing my spirit, have fueled my passion for creative expression across various mediums—painting, music, literature, theater, and film have been my solace and strength.

As an avid nature enthusiast, I find solace and inspiration in the wilderness. The majesty of the outdoors is a canvas that continually feeds my creativity and drives my work. Yet, I am acutely aware of the societal constraints that often stifle authentic self-expression. It is in this space that my art and yoga practices converge—each a testament to the transformative power of embracing our true selves, fostering community, and challenging the boundaries that seek to confine us.

My Stained Glass Watercolor paintings are more than just visual experiences; they are invitations to introspection and emotional liberation. Through the interplay of fluid shapes and structured geometries, I explore the dichotomy of life's beauty and its trials. The vibrant colors and intricate patterns symbolize the journey of breaking free from constraints, embracing our vulnerabilities, and reconstructing our identities with strength and grace.

This journey is not just reflected in my art but is a central theme of my yoga practice. Through yoga, I seek to empower individuals to find their own path to self-love, resilience, and creative expression. My mission is to inspire and uplift, encouraging a life lived with intention, adventure, and an open heart.

Traveling in my camper van, I am constantly reminded of the beauty of diversity and the strength found in community. The queer community, in particular, embodies the essence of resilience and creativity—a source of endless inspiration for me. Together, through art and yoga, we can build spaces of acceptance, understanding, and mutual support.

As we navigate this grand adventure called life, let us remember the power of our emotions to create beauty and the strength we possess to transform challenges into opportunities for growth and connection.

With love and light,

Grace
